Elaine Quiroz is President of Corporate Housing Strategies, the leading training and development firm in the worldwide corporate housing industry since 1996. Elaine works with providers of all sizes to help them achieve new levels of sales success in the local, regional, and national marketplaces. Training is offered for individuals and teams, both in-person and via telephone. Elaine began her corporate housing career with Oakwood Corporate Housing in Southern California in 1988. In her 9 years with Oakwood, she held positions on the local, regional, and national levels. Her career encompassed sales positions on both the East and West coasts, as well as regional sales management roles for the Mid-Atlanta, Northeast, and Midwest. In 1992, she was selected as Oakwood’s National Sales Manager, and was asked to help develop a concept of national sales within the company. She was pivotal in helping lay the groundwork for their successful national sales program, including their national accounts program, and their relationships with national relocation companies. Elaine established Corporate Housing Strategies in 1996 as the industry’s first resource for dedicated training and development, as well as consulting work. Her clients include corporate housing providers, national hotel companies, property management / development firms, furniture rental companies, and relocation companies. Since 1998, Elaine has authored the “FAQ” sales and advice column in Corporate Choices magazine, with a readership of over 55,000 human resource and relocation professionals. She is a frequent speaker at relocation and corporate housing conferences throughout the country. Elaine holds the Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) designation from Employee Relocation Council, and is an active member of the Corporate Housing Providers Association (CHPA). A native
